Can't wait to get started on this one!
Hilarious and fun! A great way to introduce comics to a younger reader or a palate cleanser if you, like me, find yourself reading a lot of darker fare
As Ms. Toni says, this is required reading. I found it equally compelling via audiobook.
Captured the isolation and despair that can come with living in a new city and not knowing language, customs, train schedules, etc.
Danler does a remarkable job of creating clear settings. I wish I could see all of her characters so well. I found much of the character development hazy. I had a tough time understanding when exactly Tess went from being the new girl and constant screw-up to one of the best employees.
I was more interested in the characters' pasts - the college-band portion of the book - than any of their current dilemmas.
Excellent. A rarely seen relationship between a woman and her hawk. Fantastic to dive into when you are in need of solitude

I finished listening to this during my hour+ commute today. A fantastic listen ... just make sure it's not dark when you hear the last few chapters. Sleep won't come easy.
A quick and honest take on Samuelsson's journey so far. Over-reliance on some phrases became irksome, but overall, an engaging and enjoyable read
After finishing Hamilton: The Revolution, I'm returning to Jane land with both Re Jane and Jane Steele
Look what just arrived at my doorstep! Can't wait to get started!
One of the many reasons I love this book is the sense of familiarity surrounding the plague and the way people reacted to it. Also, I worked at the Public during the production of KING LEAR that inspired the production in the book, so the hauntings of those characters were incredibly familiar.
I usually race through books, especially when they're this good, but I parsed this out one out over the last year and finally finished last night. An incredible read.
Fun read by a fellow DC theatre creator (and birthday twin)!
In 9/2012, our tiny book club of two met for the first time to discuss Murakami's 1Q84. We talked about the (over?)use of common motifs in HM's work: cats, foot fetishes, time, isolation, but overall, we both loved it, esp. the use of magical realism
