Holy wow... Thomas Olde Heuvelt...I can't even... By far my favorite read 2016, and one of the most original stories I've ever come across. Thanks to @Liberty for mentioning this one on All the Books! podcast - totally would have missed it otherwise.

This is a book that is perfect for not only foodies, but anyone who needs an uplifting read. The amount of knowledge and self-made success that Ian has shown at such a young age is nothing short of incredible. We could all take a page out his book when it comes to following our passions in life.

If Helen Philips, Black Mirror, and dare I say it, Margaret Atwood had a magical literary love child, THIS would be it. Children of the New World is truly a binge-worthy short story collection and a MUST read for fans of speculative fiction.

Monday night done right with HarperCollin's Lead Read of October.

ReadingFool Enjoyed my ARC but the lack of conversation punctuation was confusing at first. Curious if final version will be like that. 8y
Macon.W @ReadingFool I may be thinking too much into it, but perhaps she chose not to include quotation marks in order to break the barrier of language - English, Kiowa, and German? More than likely, this was probably just a wine-induced thought I had while reading! 8y
