Great ending to a trilogy! Pace, excitement and a strange ending. What more can you wish for

Ok this is a middle book and as such was slower to build the momentum. It's not as good as book 1 and don't bother to read it before book 1. Off to read book 3 to find out if I've wasted 3 days of my life ... or not

I'm hooked! Bought the second in the series as soon as I finished it. So many questions, so many threads to follow. Love a good dystopian future - this is good but not in it league of say 'the passage' by Justin Cronin.

This is my first Roy Ballard mystery so I kept asking myself is this flawed 'detective' hero or villain. It takes a good writer to keep that kind of doubt alive. Would read more of this series in a heartbeat.
