Really enjoying this so far. Very different than Who Fears Death in tone, but similar in theme. Nnedi Okorafor might be my hero.

Beautiful. Take elements of Rothfuss's Name of the Wind, set it in a post-apocalyptic Sudan, shake in some themes from current events, and pull it all together with a beautiful, succinct prose style. I need to read more Okorafor books, and soon.
