Um, yes please! The only expensive thing about this library would be my medical bill from falling off the ladder. #library

Pickpick

I have read another edition of this book and in regrets to this great book, the translation falls short. In saying this, I absolutely adore this book, there isn't anything like it. Leskov‘s humour is subtle but it will make you roar in laughter. I enjoyed Leskov's political commentary on Russia and England in its time. However, a little knowledge of the political climate at the time goes a long way.

Can a person be religious yet does not believe in God? This is the quration answeres by Balzac, who delivers a deeply emotional ballad. It's humanistic and very-well crafted, with a skillful touch of mystery and suspense. Balzac is able to stunning heavy detail in such a short space, and Balzac is no exception, paints a picture using only few words. The style itself may not fit into contemporary writing today, however, it is a product of its time.
