I couldn‘t put this book down...however, I don‘t think is a great book; it was very slow, and it didn‘t make me emotional until the last ten pages. But there‘s something magnetic about it that pulls you to keep reading. Crazy that this can happen in real life at any point to any of us who love to travel. ✈️

The Institute | Stephen King

If you are used to the dark, horror SK books, you will find a different style of writing in The Institute. This book is creepy in a different way; it makes you feel the pain the kids are feeling and wonder if any of what is in this book could perhaps be a reality. What if it is?
I was expecting more mystery, more power from the kids. But great book, if you like mystery, psychological thriller, and telekinesis- telepathy topics, it is for you!

Book #3 of the year!!

First novel ever of Melissa Albert a well-done one! This book is very descriptive and I was drawn into the Hazel Wood myself. The end of the book was a little too heavy on description and slightly complicated to read but great book overall!

Some things are worth pursuit regardless of the cost” ~ Stephanie Garber

At times, I found my heart pounding. There were twists I expected, and others I did not. I was breathless waiting for what was next most of the time. Magical and sometimes a little complicated. I can't wait to read book 2, Legendary.

The first book of the year! Really good book, you won't be able to stop reading. Very original, the author adds a few ”spell recipes” that add a hint of magic to the book. This book doesn't feel rush at the end, something that I truly enjoyed. I fall in love with the energy between Nora and Oliver.
