Fantastic novel. A nice bit of absurdity wrapped in a thought provoking, yet darkly humorous story that explores ideas of growth, movement and understanding among other things. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the latest printing is poorly typeset and the paper is too thin to read cleanly. Find an older printing if you can.

Very interesting and creative take on what it is to be a "self". Sharp witty writing with plenty of subtle jokes and outrageous plot points that kept me giggling or at least smirking for most of it.

A unique voice looking at a standard modern family and their distinction and general unhappiness and shortcomings as family members. Parts are incredibly well written, but it's not consistent in quality. Still worth the time spent reading it.
