I must confess the artwork isn‘t mine. I discovered it among hundreds of others when I was looking for dragon artwork. I think I can safely assume it‘s a children‘s book illustration. If you recognize it please inform me. I would love to learn of the artist.

I felt my quote would be poignantly fitting insofar as an adult would so often try to rationalize love while a child would just know in its heart that it loved its dragon...

Golden in Death | J. D. Robb

Pickpick

Just finished reading number 50 in this series! J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts) never disappoints! I‘ve been a huge fan of Lieutenant Eve Dallas for almost two decades (oh, and I can‘t forget Peabody!) and this latest case she tackles just makes me more so. I love introducing the “In Death” series to people because I always recommend the first book. That way, when they come back and say they love it and then ask if there‘s more I can say YES, 50 more!

This is a writers plea for help. As part of my amateur writing club assignment I was given this photo. We are working on internal dialogue and I‘m to write a brief “history “ of my character told in their own words. Honestly, there are so, so many possibilities that I can‘t choose. Any thoughts?

Reggie I just saw my mother talk to the man who comes to the forest. She tells me him and I have the same eyes. My mother, she‘s a beautiful woman when she sheds her fox skin. I‘ve seen them talk before but she has never cried after he leaves. I wonder what made her so sad. Lol, idk that‘s the best I could do. 6y

Black Tide Rising | John Ringo, Gary Poole
post image

The absolute best reality-based depiction of a Zombie Apocalypse. While it is indeed graphic in its depiction of violence, it‘s done with a military veterans eye for detail and not just for gores sake. The most amazing aspect is that it‘s told from the perspective of a Heroine of only 13yrs of age. It‘s not a YA book by any means but it would be a great read for young teens. And your average Romance novel has far more sexual innuendo. Five stars!

Poet422 This is the third book in a four book series. I‘ve read the entire series at least 10 times in the past few years. 6y

I‘ve always carried a deep-seated disagreement with Tennyson‘s advice on love. The quote is my own.
