A really atmospheric story with a nice and dark premise and a hint of magic. I loved the story & the idea but was not a fan of the love thing. But I would recommend it for everybody who loves a quick, dark and interesting read - & it's a standalone!

One of my favourite series of all time - and I hope to reread the whole series in German soon.

All was well.

I tried it 3 or 4 times until I finally finished this book.
AND it was a nice and fast read but nothing that blow up my mind!
The characters were not that annoying as I thought they would be. Especially Clary was really ok - because I hated her on the tv series.
I've already known story - because of the tv series - But Cassandra Clares writing style was so awesome!
I will definitely try to read the whole series!

I had the opportunity to read the German edition of Iskari - the last Namsara earlier. So I can't say any details because you can't get it now - the release day is in October! But I can say that this is the best book I read this year so far!! High Fantasy - Dragons - kick ass female character - what do you want more?!

Endlich ist wieder ein Band der Argeneau-Reihe erscheinen (Band24).
Dieses Buch hat es seit den (sicherlich) letzten 10 (?) endlich wieder geschafft mich mehr zu unterhalten. Es gibt tatsächlich eine Handlung, zusätzlich der Liebesgeschichte, die mit diesem Buch jetzt schon 2 Bände umfasst. Ich kann es definitv für Einsteiger empfehlen (könnt mit Band 23 beginnen!).
Eine leichte, sexy Vampirstory, perfekt zum vernaschen für zwischendurch!

Ich habe mich auf ein neues Fantasyabenteuer gefreut und habe am Ende nur eine Romanze eingewickelt in etwas Fantasy bekommen. Besonders tiefgründig waren die Charaktere auch nicht aber die Geschichte hat Potenzial und der Schreibstil war gut.

I expected a nice high fantasy story but don't get what I want. It was a nice idea but not that well made. I hope the 2. book will be better. The writing style was nice but to much love story!

I finished the Percy Jackson series and I loved it. The first 3 books we're okay but really loved the last two and now I have to finish the Kane chronicles and maybe start the Heroes of Olympus Series .

I will love the Shatter me series by Tahereh Mafi for-ever and always and I finally read Unite me and loved it too. I will definitely pick this series up again soon because I have to read this again but maybe this time in english so I can get my hands on all of this stunning English paperback covers!

I'm still not sure what I should think about this book. It's both a pick & so so. I loved the characters & the world building was special & interesting but the story was sometimes a little bit slow going. But I think it's kinda okay because it's the 1. book.
After finishing this book I think it also could stay on it's own. The world is perfect for more but the end was great, so... Maybe I will read the next
2 books but I'm not sure now.

I really love this series!
It's a kinda Harry Potter Story about Callum Hunt who really don't want to go to the Magisterium- a magical school. His dad told him terrible stories about magic. He tries everything but he get through the test and has to go learning witchcraft in Magisterium.

I enjoyed every book and the last one broke my heart so much. I can't but have to wait until the next one get published.
