This was such a difficult book to read. I enjoyed the story but kept on putting it down after only a few pages. Took me almost 2 weeks to read which is unheard of for me. I connected with most of the characters but not Kaz. Wouldn't read this series again.

As always the characters were relatable and the book was entertaining. I will forever love Jenny Colgan and her writing style

Loved this book. Made me want to visit the bookshop and the cheeseshop and all the other places written about in this book.

Really struggled to get into this book. It was well over half way before I connected to any of the characters but in the final few chapters I was gripped. Can't wait to start Crooked Kingdom

Read this in one sitting. Different from the Selection series but still very good. Love her style

Didn't have me as ingrossed ad as the first book. A nice twist at the end - will definitely be reading the third in the series
