I enjoyed this book about three generations of Palestinian Christian women. The historical backdrop was interesting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gulfskye That cover could be a quilt. 7y
Siobhan_c @Gulfskye, it could be! A nice one for EPP. 7y

I treated myself to this book, Jackson's latest, and now am in that after-book coma you get when you've read a good book. I really enjoyed it.

I enjoy books set during WWII (that sounds wrong to say, some how) so did enjoy this book. I have a knack for picking books in a series out of sequence. This book is the second of three books, fictional stories inspired by the Paris apartment that was left undisturbed for decades after the owners left during WWII. It sent me down a rabbit hole on the internet, searching out information and images of the original owner. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I couldn't sleep last night so read this book instead. It was good but not amazing; good enough, though, that I was glad to see there is a second book in the series.

Discovering new to me authors had been one of the benefits of my Kindle Unlimited membership. I just finished this book, doing a mix of reading it or listening to it. This is the second book that I've read by Camille Di Maio. I preferred her "Before the Rain Falls" but did enjoy this as well.
