Incredible memoir. Enjoyed this on audio while taking afternoon walks and I found myself taking an extra lap around the block to keep listening

Really enjoyed this, maybe even more than The Hate You Give! I also really loved listening to the Official Spotify Playlist that was created for this book
I do enjoy romance novels, despite the predictable plots and cheesy writing. And I really did love the setting and how it was almost a character itself. However, I found the main characters kind of flat, the plot underwhelming and the conflict (between the leads) frustrating. I did enjoy the character‘s backstories but I won‘t be continuing with the Cedar Ridge series.
Bleak but very compelling. There‘s a lot to pick apart about this issue and inspired a rewatch of The Wire and deeper look at the Appalachian region
Eleanor Oliphant kinda broke my heart and then put it back together. That being said, I still found myself underwhelmed on the whole
