I can't say anything except how much this book changed me. If it says anything to anyone I bought and now own one of the 5 copies publicly known about in the United States and if I could I would tell everyone to read it. It was one of Michael Ende's few books not directed at children but instead a collection of short stories about what it means to read, and how reading effects who you are and how you act. (Only photo I could find of the book)

This book is absolutely amazing, it really has amazing representation both in race, and in disability. The main character is autistic and if I'm being honest I have never read a book that isn't about crime or some trauma that gets autism right. I will say I was surprised by how erotic it was, but that did not slow down my reading or desire to recommend this great book.

Litterally my favorite book. I have read it at minimum five times, have tattoo from it, and just love everything it is about. So much religious symbolism, very political, and fun for all ages.
