This isn't really related to this book at all but more my experience of reading in general maybe. After I finish this book... hopefully by the end of the week...this will be my 8th book read this year. I know to some that is hardly anything but to me it's an accomplishment. It's one book per month when last year and the beginning of this year I was struggling to be able to even concentrate long enough to read a page. Yay for small accomplishments

TrishB It‘s all reading, doesn‘t matter how much. 5y
rretzler Fantastic! I wish I could get my younger son to read that much! 5y

This book was so amazing! I loved reading their stories and the book is filled with little pieces of advice. I feel like this quote hit me over the head and said "wake up"!

This books was ok. I enjoyed the biology and science behind the book. I listened to it and maybe that's why I struggled but there were so many characters and storylines, it got really confusing. By the end of the book as it was wrapping up all the different storylines I just couldn't remember who half the people were or why their ending would make any sense. I feel like some of what happened really had no purpose. There were things I liked.

Does anyone else ever have it when they are reading a book that regardless of character description or any other factor, your brain decides that that character is played by a specific actor? For me, in this book, Stanley Tucci is Ed. Can't turn it off.

BarbaraTheBibliophage Welcome to Litsy! I haven‘t read that book yet, but I adore Stanley Tucci. 🙌🏻 7y
