So sad this morning to hear about Leonard Cohen passing away. I love his music and his fiction is wonderfully weird... When will this shitty year end!

I was in @Foyles yesterday and discovered they had The Mothers by Brit Bennett half price so I pretty much raced to the till. I am halfway through already and all the praise is so deserved; it is an outstanding debut. Cannot recommend enough!

Mind blown by the the ideas in the Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu. Though I hear mixed things about book 2&3 particularly in regards to his characters so we'll see! #chinesesf #cixinliu #threebodyproblem
