Surprise, Harry is dumping Bea there and will only visit on the weekends, leaving Monday thru Friday for his extracurricular activities. Bea meets Thomas the keeper of the lighthouse. Sleeping Giants | Sylvain Neuvel

Rose falls through a hole and lands in the palm of a giant metal hand. Rose grows up and becomes a scientist and finds the rest of the pieces, arms, legs, head, and body of a giant alien metal like person. Learning how to operate it and coming to terms with where it came from, what powers it has and why, make for a great read. The entire book is in the style of interviewer/dialogue, which became an interesting added dimension for the story.

The best series lately. Natchez Burning, The Bone Tree and finally Mississippi Blood. Amazing read with a twist at the end that I wasn't really expecting. Try all three, you won't be sorry.

What a whirlwind of issues amongst the characters. "What happened at the barbecue" got to be annoying until half way through the book finally it is revealed. Just because of all the dysfunctional characters, who have more problems than me, I would consider this a good pick.

This Grisham story was more like a piece of white bread with butter on it. I was hoping for a ham and cheese on rye, you know what I'm saying?

Greg Iles never disappoints me. I enjoy his style of writing. This story contains a woman married to a doctor, she has an affair, ends the affair and discovers she is pregnant. Then her husband goes off the deep end by discovering her affair but doesn't know who she had it with. On top of this his practice is targeted for fraud. Lots of surprises with the typical Greg Iles explosive ending.

It is fun to explore a different type of story. It pulled me along in a one horse open sleigh through the cold and snow of Russia. The author did a wonderful job transliterating the Russian words. An amazing Russian folklore that opens a window into a tale of good and evil, death, religion and transformation. Two thumbs up 👍👍for this one.

Anyone who has ever had a pet, especially a dog, will shed a few doggy tears on this one. A journey of one dog that keeps coming back as a different dog with one goal and that is to help the humans. The ending is truly a
show stopper and makes you keep this book to re-read again. ❤

The Circle | Dave Eggers

This was the most scary, it will probably happen book. In fact I believe it has already began. A modern day "1984"
story. Technology, pinning, zinging, and sharing everything by being completely transparent and recording every
minute of your day. Realization that sharing all, knowing all is not a good thing. I can hardly wait for the movie.

Loved the characters, so much magic I wish I had a wand like they do. Where is Newt now? I hope there will be a sequel.

I can see why some will hate and some will love this book/and or series. It is a quick read with action, vampires and sex. What more can you ask for? It is a quick glass of water after exercising, a mindless trip before bed. Will I read another one in the series? Probably cause it's like a commercial on tv. You don't need to pay attention to get it.

Well written and completely engaging. Parts were difficult to read knowing these atrocities actually happened.
