After I saw the movie trailer, I noticed I had this book in my classroom. I read it quickly over that last few days. I liked the extra-textual pieces. Characters are smart and intuitive. A thoughtful book. A good read.

As soon as the wee human is asleep, it's #everythingeverything for this Saturday night's read.

A little comfort reading tonight to warm me up and chase away a cold.

Tonight's read. Love it.

I picked up #crowlake on a whim while my students were reading silently. I couldn't put it down. My holiday reading now involves finding all that #marylawson has written. Absolutely beautiful.

It is a fast read. Some of the character's motivations are hard to believe. And having a small baby at home makes it hard to read at times.

I absolutely love this.

Picked up a couple #romancenovels for the first time since high school! Need a little fun after teaching #Hamlet all day. #firstromanceread since 1996! Reading out of my bubble and loving it!

Love it. This is one of those books that makes me unwilling to move on to another novel right away. I can't get my head out of the story. Heart swells for this book.

I enjoyed reading this novel because each chapter read like a short story. I followed along Addie's life like she was sitting telling me the tale herself.

I was in need of something easy and light. This did the trick. It was a good library pick.

I so wanted to sink into this book. And I tried so many times over the past couple of weeks, but I never got to that unputdownable stage. Finally, I just gave it a go this weekend and it was a big ole "Meh" with a whole lotta "why-didn't-she-just-" moments. Now I need a new mystery to satisfy the craving!

This author can write a character into existence: she starts to unravel in your head, and then you see her--walking around outside with you. Spot on. My third Strout book in a row. Can't stop. Now onto updating my neglected Reading Log!

Loving this book while baby finally sleeps!

This is my favourite book of 2016. Read over two days whenever my busy 8 mo slept...I should be sleeping, but I had to finish this book! And gush about it. Absolutely the best.
