Rebel Queen: A Novel | Michelle Moran

I don't know very much about India's history which made this book fascinating for me. The ending was not what I was expecting but such is life! #MilliesReadingMania2016 #CuteMalamuteAurora

Bailedbailed

I am not one to quit books even if I don't like them, but this book I couldn't even push myself through.

Tsubame I loved the book, but I'm curious to know why you bailed out? 8y
ameliorating @Tsubame I found the writing dry, unemotional, and unengaging. Maybe that was intentional because of who the narrator was but it made it difficult for me. I also found the storyline fairly predictable. I know many people who also love the book, it just want for me this time around. Maybe I will pick it up later down the road and like it. 8y
IMASLOWREADER im glad i'm not alone...i still finished it though...i guess i wanted to find out what the fuss was all about 8y

Pickpick

This book felt like it was just filler between the 3rd and 5th books. The storyline wasn't very captivating to me but there were lots of characters introduced that I'm sure will pop up in later storylines.

This book was necessary for the overall storyline but wasn't as exciting to me as Outlander.
