How to Be a Woman | Caitlin Moran

Pickpick

I didn‘t agree with everything Moran said, but I appreciated it all. I wish teenage me had been more encouraged to read books like this, explore my own ideas of womanhood and feminism. One of my resolutions is to read books that force me to do just that. Up next: Bad Feminist by Roxanne Gay (also I am IN LOVE with Harper‘s Olive Editions!!)

Ending the year with some early Hemingway. Hopefully this title will not be indicative of the year to come

My December Read pile!

All the Light We Cannot See wins the month as my favorite. The story was heartbreaking but uplifting, and beautifully detailed.

The Handmaid‘s Tale was an important and relevant read for this year. Me Before You was beautiful, but I️ foolishly read the first few pages of After You, and all of Clark‘s character development was lost for me. Dragon Teeth was classic Crichton, thoroughly researched.

Debiw781 I loved the Crichton book. I just read it within the last month or so as well. 6y
