For my book challenge: Read a book you started but never finished 👍
Seriously, so good. A wonderful retelling of one of my favorite classic novels; true to the voice of the OG story but with its own feminist, albeit creepy, twist.

Yeah, ok I have like three other books I'm reading right now. What's one more? 🤷😁
So I'm working on a bullet journal (sort of, kind of) and one of my pages is a 2019 Reading Challenge I borrowed from Pinterest. Guess I know which one I'm checking off first...🤔🙄 (97% of what I read is YA lol)
Taking a break from realistic fiction/heartbreaking refugee stories to dive back in to my favorite genre...fantasy!
This book broke my heart ? it was such a good read and interestingly structured (each "chapter" is structured like a memory or thought)
Not my usual genre of book but I enjoyed it! That's the great thing about book clubs I guess ? it was pretty sad too because we're so entrenched still in the Aleppo crisis, which is so eerily similar to refugees from all sorts of points in history. Sort of makes you think "when will we learn?"
Man, I usually think at the end of a YA book that I know is part of a series: "oh jeez...why couldn't they just wrap it up here?"
Total opposite with this one! I cannot wait to read the next one! Elloren has come out as my new favorite heroine, and she got stronger as a character as the book went on.
Yay!!!
Man, I don't usually like when my books have love triangles, but this one is kicking me in the feeling...😍 #mushygooshy #YAlove
