I wanted to love this book. It was my last book of 2019...a snowy story for a rather warm December. There were moments of such beautiful writing... I could see the stunning landscapes and feel the bitter cold. I also grew to love all the characters. However, I felt like the author couldn't decide which direction to go. It felt like we should know some ultimate answer when the book ended, but really I was just left wanting more!
