I loved watching both of these characters fight their way to a happy future. Their journey is certainly not easy, but oh so rewarding when they finally get there. The hope that permeates every single page makes this a beautiful story of grace and any bit of happy is hard-won, even from the wonderful side characters.

That was loads of fun! I laughed several times and swooned a bit over the cute. Definitely looking forward to the next book of the series. 😊

These characters put down roots in my heart and refused to leave. For hours and days after, I was still thinking about them and needing to go back and revisit all my favorite bits. That doesn't happen with every story I read, so when it does? I know I've found a good one! :) It goes without saying that I recommend this story, friends.

Just finished the entire series and wow! SO very enjoyable.

SO much fun! I'm a huge fan of retellings and this took all the parts we know so well and twisted them in awesome ways. The dragons were a fabulous addition! Plus the romance grew believably while still having the usual fairytale elements to it. Definitely a keeper! 😊

Wow. For my first Susanna Kearsley, I am impressed. I loved this! Haunting and romantic are definitely the words for her writing.

Really enjoying the narrator! Austen is such a great writer, so I shouldn't be surprised, huh?

Loved part one! Alcott wrote a family filled with love. The bond among the sisters was beautiful! Watching them grow in part two was sweet, but some of their relationships frustrated me and caused FEELINGS. Overall a wonderful story I'm happy I read.

Clearly writers have always had this problem...

Natalie's writing is wonderful and her characters always make me grin. Looking forward to this one!
