I actually have mixed feelings about this book. I feel like lottie isn't a likeable character and maybe she isn't meant to be. The story and art make me want to continue reading. What really happened to cool girl? Can I be best friends with cute girl? What will happen to Charleen? I need to know.

I feel like I would have enjoyed this book more if I had read it in middle school. The book was short but it took me awhile to read it. I did like the cast of characters especially Aunt Beast. I'm going to read the rest eventually and plan on seeing the new film.
