Having seen the movie prior reading this book made many of the surprises less climatic, but I can't help but admire the complexity of this book. You believe one thing until the rug is ripped out from under you, and you learn that everything you thought was true, wasn't. I think this is a wonderful thriller full of complex characters, each with their own secrets and mental instabilities. I hope to get my hands on Flynn's other books soon.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved the way this story flowed, moving from the Chase sisters' travels to Mary's life back at the hotel with her mother. It was strategic, the way little bits of information were revealed to create a huge impact (Chapter 25 anyone?). The closer to the end I got, the less I wanted this book to end and the more emotional I became. I'm so glad I picked "The Sisters Chase" by Sarah Healy for my first Book of the Month box. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
