America didn't want any of us, and you haven't felt unwanted until America doesn't want you.
This author, I love to read. So satisfying.
I felt this book had a curve of interest, meaning at first it grabbed my attention and as the story moved along I had trouble maintaining my attention then by the end I was fully attentive again. Something about the way the author plays with the timeline as affected my reading. I did found it interesting that a book about Vampires didn't actually use the word until well into the pages after page 400.
Interesting to see how the story continues and the repercussions of it all. Also not seeing it on stage the differences among the actors/actresses is non existent. It would be an interesting read for anyone struggling with a father son relationship as so many are explored in the play.
