To sum it up- mind-bending sci-fi saga with monsters and unicorn, Murakami style. I had no idea what I was getting into. Really enjoyed the ride.

Is it just me or all the Murakami novels do have the same protagonist? The loner type who reads and listens to hipster music and cooks delicious meals while contemplating the point of his own existence?
