Took a while to get into but it got better as it went along.
It seems like some of the characters don't have much depth to their decisions though and I would probably read the next book to see if it gets better. There were hints at the end that some of the characters will have more depth so... fingers crossed!

Just got to pass by the church that the one in Moby was based off of. Too bad we were in a hurry.... i would have went in. Well, it's still pretty!

Well it only took an hour to read this book... But I wish it was longer! I really liked the story and the depth to the characters, even in the short time that I read about them. Very diverse and lots of current issues!

I really just need to finish! I keep reading it in chunks because of schoolwork, but hopefully this weekend I can just sit down and read. And the picture was taken at the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Gardens in Maine. Such a cool place!

I love whoever thought of the text design for this series. It's perfect!

I just finished This Savage Song and now I don't know what to read! This is what I'm deciding between... Probably just going to read Heart of Darkness. Thoughts?

MrBook Yeah, Heart is a great next choice. Nice selection! 8y
WanderingBookaneer I was not a fan of Paris Bookshop. 8y
lizzylovesbooks @JaimitaPR yeah, I started it and got 30 pages in and stopped. I really want to get farther in and give it a chance because I haven't read enough to decide whether or not I don't like it. I'm not loving it though. 8y

This Savage Song | Victoria Schwab
Pickpick

So this is the first Victoria Schwab book I've read, and about 80 pages in this book got really intense and never stopped. To the point where I couldn't sleep until I finished it because I HAD TO KNOW HOW EVERYTHING TURNED OUT! I love the characters, but it focused mainly on August and the Harkers and I would have loved to get to know the other characters as well. Maybe that will be in the next book? And you can bet I will be reading the sequel!

It's kind of confusing at the beginning like you don't have all the information about the world. But still good. Update: Most of it was explained while I read more and the writing continues world building the farther you get into the book.

A couple pages in and this book is already hysterical! Also Shakespeare references are always great!

I really like the idea of this book! And they create their own worlds?! Let's see how it is.

Currently reading! Unfortunately, I was not in the Biology II class that read this book, but I got a copy when they were done with it! So far it's pretty simple information, but still interesting.

Every time I think a book by Robin Hobb starts to get slow, there is a plot twist. It's a very good read, but I liked the Farseer Trilogy better. Hopefully the next book gets better!
