I can‘t even express how much I love this book. How much I love Loveday and Archie and Nathan. I am leaving this book crying - tears of sadness, tears of happiness, and tears that this book is over. This was a book that found me. I was looking for something else in the library that wasn‘t available and this was another recommendation. A much much much better book in my opinion!!

I really liked this book a lot and give it 4 stars. It was quirky and fun! I related to Nina a lot and she was goals for a lot of things - her planner, her bookstore job, her bookshelves, her big comfy chair and cat. Her life and story felt like home to me. The only thing this was missing to give it 5 stars was an emotional connection. I would recommend it to any bookworm for a fun easy relatable book!!

I want to give it 3.5 stars. It was interesting enough for me to finish. I wasn‘t thinking about it when I put it down. I didn‘t care for the characters beyond the pages. Idk, maybe there was too much going on or too many characters. There were moments where it was a solid 4 star - but then she lost me. I feel after reading it that reading it that reading is kind of boring and just does it‘s job. I need a page turner next!!

In addition to Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows I read The Golden Son recently. In books set in the Indian culture there is a lot of food discussion. I was inspired to try my hand at making Dal - it is soooo good!!! It was so easy too. It warms my soul!! Have any of you been food inspired by books?

crystalizedbooks I loved the Erotic Stories for Punjabi women! I hope you are enjoying it ☺️ 5y
seaves582 @crystalizedbooks I am enjoying it a lot! It‘s interesting how there is that bit of mystery in it with Maya and the other girl‘s deaths. I didn‘t expect that. 5y

I am on pg 86 of 344. I have one observation so far. The director of the program has described how the women all look and it was all very judgmental. Where Nikki never has described their looks and it feels more accepting of who they are regardless of what they look like. Also the first real story by Manjeet was told of the young girl with the mole and her meetings with 2 potential husbands. It was such a lovely story. I‘m hooked!!

I picked this book up bc it is a hot book everyone is reading. It‘s not something I would have been interested in naturally. I don‘t like period, Hollywood stories, movie industry, lots of marriages. Yes this book has all of that, but in the best way possible! It‘s an engaging book about the life of movie star Evelyn Hugo and the true love of her life. I loved this book so much and it has so much more depth to it than I originally assumed.

marleed I wish I could memorize TJR writing! 5y
seaves582 @marleed There were so many passages I highlighted!! I never usually do that. Have you read any others? 5y
marleed I‘m at 4 TJRs so far in 2019. Daisy, one true loves, and maybe in another life. I enjoyed them all! 5y
seaves582 @marleed Idk how interested I am in Daisy - although that‘s what I said about Evelyn. I‘ll check out those other 2 for sure!!! 5y
