Cursed Child split opinions, but I loved it! Scorpius is my new favourite.

juliannebenford I've seen the play and loved it but still haven't gotten around to reading the script! 8y

Five chapters in and I've give up on The Lie Tree. I'm sure it's excellent, but it's just not my thing. (Faith is a great female lead though!)

Yossarian I just liked your review, then added it to my "To Read" pile because I remembered I wanted to read it even though you didn't like it, so maybe I didn't like your review after all. #overthinking 9y

★★★★☆ I really enjoyed this World Book Day novella. The storyline was good and was well told. Unfortunately the ending was very predictable, which spoiled it a little, but other than that it's a great read!

A beautiful contemporary about friendship, abuse, and the far reaching effects of one on the other that made me both laugh and cry.

I'll be honest. I've been reading this book for work and it didn't grab me at all. Then I read the last chapter. Wow. So much tension and emotion packed into the last few pages! A worthy read just for that ending, if not for the rest of the book.
