Never had I hated a female protagonist so much in all my reading life. Hahaha.. although after 800 pages I did begin to see where Scarlett was coming from and she did redeem herself (albeit slightly) after that. That being said, any book that can evoke such hatred/love towards a certain character, for me, is a job well done. Plus, Scarlett's journey with Cap'n Butler was rather epic. So still giving this a 4/5 🌟
