A funny punny mystery. Perfect for reading aloud.

Toni Morrison talking about racism and fascism in the 90s. Every brilliant word still sadly relevant.

Making a note here. Compare the "moral sense" described here to the moral sense in Twain's museums Mysterio Stranger short story.

Also Chin's description of Chinese philosophy as life as war is just so male.

This is like an in-depth guide to the Marie Kondo method of tidying up with illustrations on how to fold. Great suggestions. Don't know if I'm ever going to put them to work.

Very cute and simple story of a mole who's just a little different. I love Dan Yaccarino's illustrations.

This was so good! I wasn't sure where the story was going but it was a very satisfying read. The artwork was gorgeous, too. Great use of panels and space.

Unfortunately I couldn't take screenshots of the pages I liked (not allowed in the app).

The true heroine of Crazy Rich Asians isn't actually Rachel, who's actually really basic and boring, but actually Kitty Pong, who's basically the Asian Becky Sharp.

Becoming | Michelle Obama

I really liked this book. Obama is personable and way more direct than her husband, though it still reads as a bit guarded. It did leave me feeling really sad, though, given our present state.

All of them were senior citizens now, their hair graying and shoulders curving, a sign of the decades and maybe also the weight they'd carried for future generations.

Chelleo I so love this book 💗 5y

"Age?" She asked. "Sex? Occupation?"
"Writer," I said.
"Housewife," she said.
"Writer," I said.
"I'll just put down housewife," she said.

This was pretty easy and fun reading. Felt like the original in Mommy blogging, but way more entertaining than actual blogs.
