Knausgård again! ???

Although I did not like the second book as much as the first (which I really enjoyed very much), I am starting the third one today. Give the last part of the trilogy the chance to be a great conclusion.

What is (good) journalism? What do I expect from journalism? This graphic novel makes me think about those questions.

I'm definately looking forward to reading more by Sharon Dodua Otoo. Her writing captured me. In a few words she can talk about how difficult it can be to be a mother/wife/friend/just oneself and exactly hit home.

I found this treasure in my pile of unread books. I bought the box two years ago in a comic shop in NYC and almost forgot about it ... 🙈

The cover is just great, the story is absolutely crazy, but all in all dialogues and characters are a little bit dull.

My second Knausgård. Not yet an addict, but I see it coming. ?

I just read a few pages, but Emma Cline's writing already captured me. I think I'm going to love it. 😊

When spares are spared,
when time is turned,
when unseen children murder their fathers,
then will the Dark Lord return.

I liked Old Filth so much that I started with this one right away.

Though I generally like Ishiguro's books, this story about historical amnesia and personal memories does not quite inspire me. Too long-winded, too much ogres and pixies.

This story about a family falling apart is great , intense. Probably one of the best books I have read in the last years.

Another book of one of my favourite writers. 💛 As always in Pat Barker's Books, it is all about memories and class.
