I couldn‘t put this book down. The characters were great. The storyline was very unique. The mystery was good. I loved the way the book began. It gave absolutely nothing away. I loved the diversity of the female characters. I have only one complaint. The ending. It left no opening I could discern for this to be a series. I wish it was because I want to know more about what happens in each of their lives, especially young Olivia.

Thriller, romance, coming into womanhood, all of this is contained in this can‘t put down novel. This is a story of a young actress and her fellow thespians as they tour Mexico during the reign of Santa Ana. Ms. Frost waxed poetic as she describes the landscape of Mexico. More importantly, Ms. Frost shows how strong and powerful women are.

I so recommend this book to all Shakespeare lovers! I really feels The Bard would be pleased with this novel. Romeo and Juliet and Othello combined with the story of Queen Mab and other deities make for a fun Shakespearean romp showing how the deities love to play with us mere mortals.
