#LetterA has to be this wonderful autobiography. Ava spoke so honestly and had quite a wry sense of humor. This is also the book that started my obsession for reading celebrity memoirs.

UwannaPublishme @rubyslippersreads This one was published in 1990 and I really felt like I was having a personal conversation with Ava. Very honest and real. Not to be confused with the newer bio (The Secret Conversations). That one was more scandalous.😳 2y

How could I pick what looks like a cheesy Hollywood memoir as my favorite Under the Radar book? Ava's raw and gutsy honesty and the way she spoke her mind and stood her ground with some of the most powerful men in the industry really empowered me. I admired her fearlessness to speak her mind in an era of complacency. I really felt like she was speaking to me and many women personally urging us to speak up and take no BS. 💪🏻
