pickA fun story about the town of Dry Creek, its history, some uncovered secrets all started with a proposal for a new drinking fountain. I love the style, which is the same as 43 Old Cemetary Road, but it doesn't have the same feel of that series. Still sad that Kate Klise's visit got postponed...

pickI just finished reading an advanced copy of Kate Klise's new MG chapter book, and it's adorable! It brought me right back to my 5th grade class when our librarian read us REGARDING THE FOUNTAIN, and we all found it hysterical. There's even more fun puns in her new book which with kick off The Appleton Files series. I cannot wait to see Sarah Klise's illustrations as I know it will bring the whole book together when it pubs spring 2020.
