“It is a mistake to fancy that horror is associated inextricably with darkness, silence, and solitude.” #lovecraft #horror

#HallowReads #day23 #ClassicScare Nothing more classic in the scare department than Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and The Tales Of HP Lovecraft. Both of these novels (and short stories) have been adapted many times into plays, movies and retellings. My favourite version of Frankenstein is Mel Brooks's Young Frankenstein. One of the funniest movies of all time! "Damn your eyes!?"

Lynnsoprano Love Young Frankenstein 😃 And I-gor😂 7y
Lizpixie "Abby someone" "Abby who?" "Abby...Normal!" "You mean I put an abnormal brain, in this seven foot tall, 180 pound body?!!!!"? @Lynnsoprano (edited) 7y
