Loving these new Penguin classic horror covers.

The first book to scare the hell out of me! (I see I rated it 4 stars on goodreads years ago & I kinda wonder why because that ending was severely disappointing. 900 pages of build up and about 200 pages of anticlimactic wrap-up.)
All those complaints aside, the descriptions and storyline truly terrified me!

#HallowReads #day23 #ClassicScare Nothing more classic in the scare department than Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and The Tales Of HP Lovecraft. Both of these novels (and short stories) have been adapted many times into plays, movies and retellings. My favourite version of Frankenstein is Mel Brooks's Young Frankenstein. One of the funniest movies of all time! "Damn your eyes!?"

I don‘t read many scary books, but this is a #classicscare I have read and enjoyed. #hallowreads @Tiffy_Reads @JoeStalksBeck
