I've heard mixed reviews on this, but so far I'm enjoying it. Definitely not enjoying the heat, however.

Definitely not for everyone, but I loved it. Each character was fascinating in their own way, even the ones on the periphery. I will definitely be reading this one again.

Having COVID really sucks, but it's giving me time to catch up on reading! Loved this book. I like the author's style, it's very conversational, even though a lot of the topics are very heavy.

This was a great book, I only wish it wasn't so short. I felt like it was really getting going when it ended. However, the length would help in terms of recommending it to others, and I added several books to my reading list from the citations.

My problem with e-readers is that I constantly lose mine. Like, I really want to read my book right now, but I have no idea where it is 🥺

I wanted to read this before watching the movie, but I think I'll go ahead and just watch it. It was good and still a pick, but didn't quite reach the hype for me. Maybe I'll try it again after a while, in a different mood.

I really don't read enough poetry, because this was amazing and absolutely heartbreaking.

This book was very eye opening about gender identity issues, which is something I don't have much experience with. I was taken aback by this panel, since it's an anxiety dream I have often too. I didn't realize it might be a common nightmare.

Trying to deal with 2020

The first Agatha Christie I ever read, way back in high school! I only vaguely remembered the plot so it was a lot of fun to revisit and I really enjoyed Dan Stevens' narration.

Even the slightest irregularity in my everyday routine plunges me into a deep well of depression, which takes a great deal of mental effort to climb out of.

I'm starting to have weekends again and it almost gives me anxiety, I always feel like I'm forgetting somewhere I'm supposed to be. Thankfully coffee and snuggles help.

Really hard to rate this book, it's actually two novellas and I have very different feelings about each. The first story 'When Darkness Loves Us' is very creepy and disturbing, I wish it could have been the whole book. The second, 'Beauty Is...' was difficult for me to get into, I actually had to put the book aside for a while. I guess all in all it was fine, but my rating is really just for the first story.

Hard to believe that anyone could have thought this was real, but then I remember that people were once scared that dungeons and dragons was satanic too. Some of the ideas in this book could've made for a good horror novel, but there was too much holding it back.

I've been wanting to read this since watching the show, and I'm sorry I waited so long. Very weird, but good.

Not quite what I expected, but still a fun read. It was a pretty funny book with some interesting thoughts about what really separates us from animals.

I thought this was a pretty enjoyable book, but nothing too exciting. Killer plants aren't the kind of thing you see a lot, which was refreshing!
