pickEnjoyable second book in the Mediator series that has Suze working with her new friends to unravel a mystery of a series of possible murders, the possibility of vampires, a cat and a new potential boyfriend.
I found this one less compelling than the first as it didn't seem like Suze herself did much until the end, but it was fun fluff.
pickMessed up the number of these but I‘ve got a bingo for #bookspinbingo 🥳🥳 I like this series and actually would like more comedic ghost stories now! 😂 don‘t know if I‘ll finish another book before the end of the month but I‘m happy to have finished so many and with a bingo too! 😍

so-soThis made me laugh several times out loud 😂 but Suze's constant harping about not having a boyfriend and how she seems to think that her mums dearest wish is for her to be a 'normal teen girl' made me a bit mad... Jesse remains lovely, David is still my favourite step-brother and I enjoyed the ridiculousness around the vampire part of the story.
'Sensitive to light,' Father Dominic said, coming out of his thoughtful reverie. 'His nickname is Red, but he doesn't have red hair. He was looking at your neck.' Father Dom opened the top drawer of his desk and took out his crumpled, unopened packet of cigarettes. 'Don't you see, Susannah?' He asked me.
'Sure,' I said. 'He's a whacko.'
'I don't think so,' Father Dom said. 'I think he's a vampire.'
"Jesse was more one of those don't-mess-with-me-I'm-so-mysterious kind of ghosts. You know the ones. With the accent and the killer abs." ???
Nobody told me about the poison oak.
Oh, they told me about the palm trees. Yeah, they told me plenty about the palm trees, all right. But nobody ever said a word about this poison oak business.
