Dante may have been right in many ways, but to put the STUPOR MUNDI in hell ... I guess he erred. Friedrich II. von Hohenstaufen has fascinated me for a long time. I collected many books about him. The novel by Horst Stern is okay. But still the best is the book "Federico" by Waldtraut Lewin. Strongly recommended ? Not really a #classiccharacter, but I don't care ?
