When five cataclysmic hurricanes cause massive devastation in Texas, leaving thousands dead, a new threat emerges from the wreckage, a virus that brings the dead back to life with an unquenchable hunger for human flesh, and only a small group of survivors can stop the horror from spreading.

This sort of thing has been done many times but I don't care, I enjoy zombie fiction! 🤓 #tbr

Reggie Have you ever read the tagged book? It is this huge time of short story zombie fiction and I think you might like it. There is even a part 2 huge book by the same name of even more Zombie fiction. But I like the first one best. 6y

Pickpick

I don't usually like zombie stories (partial to vampires) but every once in a while I stumble across one that peaks my interest. McKinney has written a fast paced adrenaline filled horror story. I was tempted to compare this to The Walking Dead but McKinney gives us a happy ending for the main character that had me sighing with relief.

#aprilbookshowers Day 18 I know @Texreader already posted about Riordan, but I had already created the pic. Lol. Another San Antonio author is Joe McKinney. He has a series of zombie books, as well as others. #localauthor

Texreader We are so fortunate to have these wonderful authors in our hometown!! 7y
PatienceFortitude I got Rick Riordan's autograph on my birthday one year. He was a delight about signing my book and wished me happy birthday 7y
Bookzombie @Texreader We are! 🙂 7y
Bookzombie @PatienceFortitude That is so cool! I haven't met Riordan. I met McKinney at a book event one time and he was really nice. 🙂 7y
