Cleared another ebook off my shelf. The pacing wasn‘t great but I read it for a quick light book while powering through post migraine pain.
I‘ve now been able to use all #Pantone2023 colors at least once.

This started off pretty promising, but descended about mid-way into standard romance tropes.... boy and girl fall in love, some kind of obstacle to overcome, a death defying gesture of love, happy ending with cake! Found some of the (ahem) adult content a little out of character too.

But as a quick read to pass the time, not awful. Just could have been more imaginative!

Good. I enjoyed it overall but found it was rushed the last two chapters as it felt like all the action was saved till then and even through everything was wrapped up it just felt like it was getting going.

Can't wait to read The Cosy Christmas Teashop to catch up with the characters and to see if this is better paced.
