Stormy Weather

Power banks charged. Laptops charged. Tablet charged. Kobo charged. Propane full. Gas tank full. Freezer organized. Water ready. Groceries bought. Flashlights, lanterns, candles, batteries. BIG stack of books and my journal ready to prep my #Scarathlon2022 spreads. I'm not sure what's coming but I'm ready for all of it! Not leaving the house anyway so here's to a stormy weekend of reading!

Rough seas and high winds today in Florida. And NYC where 3 of my 5 kids are is experiencing a blizzard.

arubabookwoman @Liz_M my kids are texting pictures, 1 from Brooklyn, 1 from Queens, and 1 from Msnhattan--all, like you, working from home these many months. I've always loved how the snow magically muffles the sounds of a latge city and makes everything so quiet and peaceful. 3y

I don't get to spend a lot of time with Sharky. She went to live with my husband when we decided to try living in separate houses. Even though she clearly loves him more, I do still think of her as my cat. When I met her as a kitten, it was a hard sell with hubby to bring her home. We're hanging out this stormy evening while hubby is in China for work. The only time she will cuddle with me is when he's away. #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #rainynight
