A simple, fun, and silly read perfect for children of all ages. The story is funny and silly while the pictures are cute and silly as well. Enjoyed it, because picture books are for big kids too! 😉

TheBookAddict 😆 awww, that‘s cute! I used to read it to the kids when I worked at a daycare, but I don‘t think I ever really paid attention to the pictures. It was nice to finally read it just for myself. 🙂👍🏽 5y

“And that's how Sally got to town, walking backwards, upside down.“

I would use this book in my classroom because I think it's appropriate for all ages but especially younger children because the book itself is simple, short and sweet.

Silly Sally written by Audrey Wood. This book is about Silly Sally who is going to town, and meets friends along the way that teach her new ways to travel to town. This book rhymes so it keeps the reader(s) engaged and it makes it more silly.

Silly Sally a form of TL by Audrey Wood is a really sweet and fun book I used to love reading when I was younger. Silly sally is a sing song book that tells a silly story about a girl who goes to town walking backwards upside down. This is a great book for CR. https://study.com/academy/lesson/silly-sally-lesson-plan.html to support this lesson plan I would hold a group discussion rather than a written response.

juliette_kathleen With this different form or response, I would be supporting EL strategy 8 and 10. I would also be implementing UDL principles 5.3, 3.3, and 2.2. #UCFLAE3414SP18 7y

Reading with the nephews on a cold and rainy afternoon...we're actually reading Little Penguin's Tale by Audrey Wood, but Silly Sally is a cute read, too! The illustrations are gorgeous. 😍🐧
