So am I trapped at a tire shop waiting for a flat to get fixed OR surprise reading time? BOTH. See you all in a hour. 😊

I picked this up because it was the first EVENT in comics I remember. I was too young for secret wars or anything like that. I wanted to get the full story and this was on sell at the library for a dollar. If it had been any more I bet I would not have bought it. I am enjoying a deeper look into the Superman character. With the novel version you get more commentary from a character we all know VERY well. I am only 70 pages in but I am enjoying it.

#TBRtemptation post 4! This looks like a fun read for comic book fans! Stern, veteran writer for Action Comics, takes on the story of Superman's death at Doomsday's hands, and the dramatic fates of Clark and Lois, the Kents, the Justice League, and the 4 mysterious beings who claim to be the real Last Sons of Krypton. Oh, and then there's Superman's triumphant return! #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

silentrequiem I loved this when I read it as a kid. Not sure how it will hold up. 7y
