pickI‘ve read and thoroughly enjoyed Robert Jordan‘s The Eye of the World and wondered how the graphic novel would compare. The story stays true to the original but I wonder if I‘d understand the way it jumps in and out of dreams/stories/memories if I hadn‘t read the book. I still enjoyed it and love seeing how the illustrator depicts the characters and scenes. Each volume is a quick read. I‘ve already started Volume 2.
pickI‘ve always been intrigued by The Wheel Of Time universe but never got around to starting them. When I saw there was a graphic novel adaptation I was stoked. The first volume starts off slow and it jumps around a little and is easy to get lost, but once it picks up, I couldn‘t stop reading it. Ready to start volume two as soon as I finish this review!
