Regular books scare me, but me and graphic novels are cool. Video games are cool too. Nailed to the X.

I haven‘t read as much as I should lately, but I blame that on the release of Borderlands 3. I finally finished this one though. The story and art was amazing. The concept was amazing and really hit home with me and my feelings about religion. Definitely a must read for anyone that doesn‘t fall in line with organized religion.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I usually don‘t like reading books for stories that I already know, but this was not the case with Coraline. The art of the novel was so vastly different than that of the film that it was almost a totally different story but not at the same time! #graphicnovel

I really enjoyed where this series started. All of the stories intertwined perfectly. But as the series went on, it got very disjointed and a little too off the rails for my taste. I‘m still interested to see where it ends, but just not as enthralled by the story as I was in the beginning. #graphicnovel #comic

I can‘t recommend this series enough! The character development is so good. The art work and overall “classic” style of it is incredible. Way is a phenomenal storyteller. He always was in MCR and that‘s no different now. Excited for volume 3 to get here and then start the show! #graphicnovel #comic

Definitely a must read! I‘ve heard such good things about the show but I wanted to read the series before watching the show. After finishing this volume, I can‘t wait to read the other volumes and watch the series. The classic superhero feel to it is just so great. And I love the art style and storytelling! On to volume 2! #comic #graphicnovel

Phenomenal. Hands down. The art, the storytelling, and everything is just phenomenal. This has to be my favorite volume yet. The way the author gives you a better understanding of the events that led to where we are now was superb. I‘m excited for the conclusion but also dreading it because I just don‘t want it to be over! #comic #graphicnovel

This one was a little slower to start, but that ending. Holy shit stuff got crazy. Was not expecting what happened to happen. Can‘t wait to see where it goes from here. Also, I loved the art from Bill Watterson in the first chapter. That was awesome! #graphicnovel #comic

A lot of series start to slowly decline after the first volume, but that‘s definitely not happening with Locke & Key. The story is so captivating with every twist and turn. I can‘t wait to see what happens next with the Locke children! #comic #graphicnovel

Glad that it got interesting again! Volume 7 was much better than the last. The Second Cycle storylines was captivating and the art was consistent with the rest of the series. This series has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs and I‘m not ready to see it end. Rest for Volume 8 to get here. #comic #graphicnovel

This volume just didn‘t stand up to the rest in my opinion. I enjoy the main storylines a lot more than these one off stories. A few of them were good and gave a little more insight to some of the storylines but overall I just wasn‘t a fan. I also couldn‘t get into the art style in some of the stories. I hope Volume 7 is better. #comic #graphicnovel

I can‘t put this series down. The story arc in this one wasn‘t as gripping as the other volumes but it was definitely a good tie-in and gave some needed info. I really enjoyed the subtle art changes. It felt like since it was dealing with greasers, it had a little bit of an Archie feel to it. With a lot more blood and gore of course! Off to volume 5! #graphicnovel #comic

This volume has definitely been my favorite so far! It helps that it is during WWII and that just happens to be one of the most interesting times in history to me. The writing and artwork is phenomenal in this series and I can‘t recommend it enough. This voyage through an (maybe?) alternate American timeline involving vampires is fascinating and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Sad I waited so long to start this series. All the hype is worth it. This is what vampires are supposed to be. The stories that Snyder and King are weaving together are so captivating and unsettling. I definitely recommend this series to anyone that knows vampires shouldn‘t sparkle! #comic

Wow. I expected this to be absolutely insane and it lived up to that and then some. Palahniuk is a genius. His works always leave me floored and thinking about the endings for a long time. This one is definitely no different. That ending. Brilliant. #catsoflitsy #comic

I‘ve always been intrigued by The Wheel Of Time universe but never got around to starting them. When I saw there was a graphic novel adaptation I was stoked. The first volume starts off slow and it jumps around a little and is easy to get lost, but once it picks up, I couldn‘t stop reading it. Ready to start volume two as soon as I finish this review!

This was my first introduction into the GoT world. I‘ve never seen the series or read the books but really wanted to check out the graphic novels to dive into the universe. This book did an awesome job of setting up the world and introducing the start of the story line that will become GoT. Definitely a great starting point for anyone new to the world or for anyone that wants the backstory!
