wanderinglynn @TheReadingMermaid I‘ve read conflicting things about which came first (novel or movie). The ultimately question—which came first! 😂 Also, there are some subtle differences. 5y

BeansPage Okay let me clear it up for you sweetie, the book was first published in May 1976 when a New Hope was still in production then just called Star Wars. Alan Dean Foster originally wrote the film to book adaptation but George Lucas was later given credit for it given the fact that he wrote the script for Star Wars the film. Then in late 1977 the film was finally finished and released. 5y

BeansPage I know there's been a lot of conflicting information over which came first. But true fans we got to stick together girl! The movie came first that is for sure and for certain 😘😘 5y

BeansPage And the subtle differences that you're noticing in the book is because it was written by Foster not by Lucas. When I first read the book I was like wait... what??? 😂😂😂 5y

I am a little bit speechless. I really loved this book. After the first part was so different to the movie, that I didn't want to read all the other parts, the one was so cute. All the little stories and this time especially two stories about books. 😊 I loved the story about New Year's Eve and the story with the wise cat. 😍 #marybuddyread @ju.ca.no how did you like it? Tomorrow the next one?

I‘m starting the third Mary Poppins book for the #MaryBuddyRead with @Sarah83 a day early as I won‘t have much reading time tomorrow... our bathroom is being renovated, so there is a lot of noise and I have to shower at my cousin‘s apartment for the next week(s), one of my best friends is getting married tomorrow and I‘m going to a concert as well... busy day ahead, I already feel tired only thinking about it🙈
