Department 19
Department 19 | Will Hill
1 post | 7 read | 7 to read
Jamie Carpenter's father is dead, his mother is missing, and he was just rescued by an enormous creature named Frankenstein. Now Jamie is pulled into a secret organization responsible for policing the supernatural, founded more than a century ago by Abraham Van Helsing. . . . Department Nineteen takes us through history, across Europe, and beyond - from the cobbled streets of Victorian London to prohibition-era New York, from the icy wastes of Arctic Russia to the treacherous mountains of Transylvania. Part modern thriller, part classic horror, it's packed with mystery, mayhem, and a level of suspense that makes a Darren Shan novel look like a romantic comedy.

Oh my goodness there is only 3 days left in #monstermadness2017. If your name is tagged below you have already won a small prize and are in the running for the grand prize.

Email me your address at MissRyanAF@ gmail . Com.

WarpedSweetness This is exciting!!! Thank you! I never win anything. Also...I don't know what the AF in your email is supposed to mean, but my mind conjured a different meaning. Lol 6y
LibrarianRyan @WarpedSweetness my guy laughs about it all the time. It's literally my name. I always put Miss on things because I have a guys name. Miss Ryan A. Franklin. 6y
WarpedSweetness @LibrarianRyan I can't help it, my mind immediately takes a bad and inappropriate direction! Lol And you know, I didn't even realize it was a guy's name until just now. You must get mistaken for a guy a lot? 6y

LibrarianRyan @WarpedSweetness in paper work /online yes. In person no. But I think it's a generational thing to. Kids today have all sorts of unisex names, but when I was a kid it was highly unusual. I have a #20thingsaboutme post about it. 6y
WarpedSweetness @LibrarianRyan It might have been unusual when I was a kid too, but I was oblivious to that sort of thing. At least people can pronounce it. I named my son Rurik and no one can say it. 6y
Natasha.C.Barnes Oh my goodness, thank you!! I have had so much fun with this. I feel bad that I've had a really busy few days and haven't been on Litsy, but I hope to finish out this challenge anyway! 6y
DarcysMom Wow! I am really excited! This is the first time I have participated in a challenge like this - it has been really fun. 6y

Libby1 Forgot to say that I live in the UK, so if this excludes me from the competition I understand. 6y
