Thanks to @BookishFeminist for her post reminding me that reading and books are a form of protest. When you feel like your country just kicked you in the teeth, grab a book and gain perspective and ammunition. (All ideas are welcome here, but remember that while some are celebrating, some of us are also grieving.). 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

All of my possible choices for #politicalfiction were just so dark that I didn't want to go there today. Instead I'm going with Robert Sabuda's America the Beautiful which is really neither political nor fiction (nor in the Litsy database), but which is definitely gorgeous. I love Election Day because we Americans get to participate in the wonderful, messy, and beautiful system that we are so lucky to have. #vote
